By Elena Voropay This simple marinade for grilled salmon gives it a slightly sweet flavor that's really terrific. Don't marinate the fish too long, 30 minutes is good, but no more than an hour or you won't taste the fish. If you have leftover cooked salmon, try what I do and roll it into a sushi roll with rice and asparagus and a little spicy
Asian Grilled Salmon 1 large salmon filet Marinade 1/3 C soy sauce 1/3 C orange juice (fresh is best) 1 T sesame oil 1/4 C honey 1 tsp. crushed red peppers (optional) mayonnaise. before you know it, you'll making this salmon just for this purpose. This marinade works equally well on chicken or pork. Mix all marinade ingredients together. marinate salmon for 30-60 minutes. If you are using the marinade for chicken or pork, you can leave the meat, refrigerated, in the marinade for several hours. Grill salmon over medium coals about 5 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness. I personally prefer my salmon somewhat rare. |
