Joint Injuries
Image

You need strong muscles and bones for your body to make any sense out of your gym efforts. But more importantly, you need some high quality glue that holds these together. The connection is provided by your tendons and ligaments. These connecting wires enable muscles and bones to bend and straighten contracting joints. Without good joint support your body wouldn't have any strength and any movement would be impossible. All common daily activities we all take for granted depend on good joint support. So protect your joints if you want to walk, run, jump, roll, play, garden, surf and ski as much as your heart desires!

    Image

There are about 650 muscles in the human body which are made of fibers enabling them to shorten and lengthen and letting your body move. Your muscles make up about one half of your body's weight. You may have strong muscles, but they are still fragile as muscles represent soft tissue which is prone to injuries. Even simple everyday activities can damage your muscles. If you are active, you put your muscles under additional stress and danger of damage. Learning to recognise the pain and knowing what it is will help you minimize injyries, lessen the symptoms and prevent any future undesirable outcomes.
